KEY CLUB EVENTS

Because Key Club is bigger than just Oak Park, we are fortunate enough to participate in HUGE events where Key Clubbers from all over our Distrinct share their love for service! There are many ways to get involved starting from the Division level to the entire world! Here are a few of these events that go on within the Key Club community.

  • Division Council Meetings (DCM): Our Division consists of other Key Clubs in schools near our area (including Simi Valley, Royal, Moorpark, Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Santa Susana, and Agoura). These monthly gatherings help instill a sense of community among the schools and helps us form closer bonds with all the members. These meetings are super fun and even consist of volunteering opportunities.

  • Fall Rally: Fall Rally is one of the most exciting and exhilarating days of the entire Key Club year! Every November, the entire CNH District (CA, NV, HI) comes together at SIX FLAGS for a day of spirit and adventure! Get to know friendly Key Clubbers from all over these three states and make memories that will last a lifetime ;)

  • DCON: Another CNH District event is the annual District Convention in which over 3,000 students just like you come together for 3 days of workshops, awards, socials and more. This is considered the most anticipated time of the Key Club year!

  • Key Leader: This is a weekend experiential leadership program for today's young leaders. This three day life-changing event in Santa Barbara focuses on service leadership as the first, most meaningful leadership-development experience. Large and small group workshops, discussions and team-building activities take place over the course of the weekend. Students have opportunities to learn leadership skills that will help them to change their schools, communities, and world for the better.

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities.
